Protect our forests
Over the course of the week competitors and spectators will become aware of an on-going, long-term initiative from Forestry Commission Scotland to promote good biosecurity practice across the national forest estate – and across the country.

These areas are available from May through to end of July, 2015.
Some will have controls placed, but most don't.

Many of the areas are within approximately 30km of Inverness, some urban areas are near Glasgow & Edinburgh Airports.

This weekend there are further World Ranking Event races in Scotland, a last chance for Elite athletes to race in Scotland before WOC in August, details of the Schiehallion Weekend here.

There will be an O-Top (£25) and a Technical T-Shirt (£15), both from noname. They will only be available at the event and will be found at the Scottish 6 Days merchandise tent. They are available in a limited quantity, so once gone no more are available. So you might want to buy early in the week!

Two of the leading nations taking part in the World Orienteering Championships in the Scottish Highlands this summer have taken the opportunity to acclimatise at the Scottish Championships.
31st May is the deadline for:
- All Teams to have entered the number of athletes and officials (IOF WOC Rule 9.6). Late entries may be refused (Rule 9.1).
- Entries from IOF Council, Commissions or National Federation personnel who wish to be accredited.
- Booking Transport Package
